Gifts From the Holy Land: The Gifts of the Wise Men Box

There’s something special about receiving a little piece of the Holy Land in the mail! Artza makes that possible through its unique subscription boxes, each one thoughtfully assembled around a Biblical theme and filled with products from Israeli artisans, farmers, and small businesses.
With the holidays approaching, these boxes also make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves Israel, Biblical history, or discovering unique products from around the world. Rather than giving another ordinary gift, you’re giving someone an opportunity to experience a little piece of the Holy Land. With handcrafted treasures, delicious treats, beautiful fragrances, and a family activity, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The Winter 2026 Gifts of the Wise Men Box takes us on a journey inspired by the familiar Biblical account of the Magi who traveled from the East, following a star to worship the Messiah and present Him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
This collection brings together handcrafted treasures, beautiful fragrances, traditional foods, and meaningful reminders of the land where the story of Messiah’s birth took place.
This theme makes the box especially fitting for the holiday season. It would be a thoughtful gift for someone who enjoys celebrating the Biblical significance of the season and incorporating meaningful reminders of Scripture into their home.
As with previous Artza boxes, I appreciate the variety of products included. Each item offers a unique way to experience the land and its traditions through a variety of foods, educational resources, health and beauty products, and more.
Bringing the Story of the Wise Men Home

The account of the Wise Men is found in Matthew 2. They saw the star, traveled to find the child, and presented Him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. This Artza box includes reminders of the story of the wise men who brought gifts to Jesus at his birth.
Matthew 2:11 tells us:
“And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.”
The Gifts of the Wise Men collection draws inspiration from this journey through its fragrances, flavors, handcrafted items, and historical treasures.
What I particularly appreciate about Artza is that the boxes encourage us to look beyond the products themselves. Each season offers an opportunity to learn something about Israel, its people, its history, and its traditions. Artza works with Israeli artisans, farmers, and small businesses, helping support the people who continue these traditions today. Whether you enjoy discovering new foods, learning about Biblical history, collecting handcrafted pieces, or simply bringing a little of the Holy Land into your home, there is something meaningful to discover.

Let’s take a closer look at what’s inside!
Hand-Carved Olive Wood Nativity Scene

One of the most meaningful pieces in this collection is the beautiful hand-carved Nativity scene made from olive wood from Bethlehem.
The scene captures the humble circumstances surrounding the birth of Yeshua (Jesus), when shepherds gathered to see the newborn Messiah beneath the night sky.
Olive wood carving has been a cherished tradition in the Bethlehem region for generations. This particular piece was created in a workshop just a short walk from where the Biblical story took place. Olive trees are such an important part of the landscape and heritage of Israel, and this little Nativity scene is a lovely reminder of the land itself.
It’s a meaningful piece to display during the holiday season and a reminder of the extraordinary events that began in such humble surroundings.

Ancient Blessing Home Stand
Another beautiful piece in this collection is the Ancient Blessing Home Stand, a gold-colored reproduction inspired by an inscription discovered in Israel’s Jezreel Valley. This item reminds us of the gift of gold that the wise men brought to our savior.
The original inscription was found among the remains of a Byzantine-era church dating to the fifth or sixth century. More than 1,500 years ago, worshippers entering the church would have encountered this message of blessing.
The inscription reads in part:
“Christ, born of Mary. This work of the most God-fearing and pious… was built from the foundation… Whoever enters should pray for them.”
According to the historical information provided with the piece, researchers at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem have studied the inscription and its use among early Christians as a declaration of faith and an invocation of divine protection.
Unlike many inscriptions of that period, this message was prominently placed at the church entrance, greeting and blessing those who entered.
I love that this piece preserves a small part of the history of early believers in the Holy Land. It is a tangible reminder that generations of people have lived, worshipped, and expressed their faith in this land.

Layla Pillow Mist
The Layla Pillow Mist brings a little relaxation into the collection.
Handcrafted in the Judean Hills, this calming mist combines the fragrances of geranium and lavender. It is a lovely addition to an evening routine, especially when preparing for a quiet night of rest.
Artza includes products like this alongside historical and Biblical treasures. It gives us another way to experience products created in Israel and support the people behind them.
Cardamom Babka Spice

The Cardamom Babka Spice is a particularly fun addition, especially when it’s the perfect time of year for holiday baking!
Created by Or, a third-generation spice farmer in the Galilee, this warm and festive blend is intended for baking babka. A delicious recipe for Christmas Cardamom Babka is included in this box as well! This is a great opportunity to bring a little taste of Israel into your own kitchen and share something special with family and friends.
Cardamom has a wonderful aroma and is used in many traditional foods throughout the Middle East. I love discovering ingredients and flavors that connect us to the culinary traditions of the Holy Land!

Israeli Honey Toffee
The Israeli Honey Toffee is another delicious treat in this collection. Made with honey from Israeli hives, this rich toffee is slow-cooked to create a sweet, flavorful treat.
Honey has a special place throughout Scripture and is frequently associated with the abundance and goodness of the land. When we think about the Biblical description of the land flowing with milk and honey, it is wonderful to enjoy a product that connects us to one of Israel’s traditional agricultural treasures.

Cheats Chocolate-Covered Cones
For something a little different, the box also includes Cheats Chocolate-Covered Cones. These are delicious by themselves or can be combined with ice cream for an all-inclusive dessert.
These chocolate-covered treats add a delightful sweet to this collection. I enjoy seeing the variety Artza includes in its boxes. There’s always something different to discover, from traditional foods to modern creations.

Handcrafted Leather Tray
The handcrafted leather tray is another beautiful piece included in this season’s box.
Designed and created in Jaffa by two army veterans, this tray is both decorative and practical. It’s designed with a Magen David (Star of David) motif and makes a lovely place to arrange some of the other treasures from the box or other decor around the home.
One thing I find especially meaningful is learning about the people behind the products. Supporting Israeli artisans and small businesses is one of the things that makes Artza meaningful beyond simply receiving a collection of gift items.

Family Activity
The Gifts of the Wise Men box also includes an interactive family activity that allows you to create a Wise Men-themed Christmas ornament. I love that Artza includes something that families can enjoy together, especially during a season when creating meaningful traditions is so important.
My children had fun assembling this beautiful ornament. The other side of this ornament has no color so there’s a choice whether to color it or assemble it with the beautiful colors already included. Items like this one make Artza boxes especially nice as a family gift. It’s not just a collection of things to unwrap, but something parents and children can enjoy together while creating a new holiday tradition.
